From the EPFL website: “TRACE’s creation is a meeting point between art and technological innovation. The dancer’s movements are recorded and transmitted in real time into artistic signals. This is all possible thanks to a technology developed by the EPFL start-up Gait Up. Affaires culturelles, march 15, 2016”
For Gait Up, TRACES is a chance to connect with the community to showcase our wearable motion capture technology with realtime streaming capabilities. By linking the audio, visual and physical experiences, visitors have the ability to interpret motion in a new way. Thank you to everyone who was involved!
